With the outbreak of Covid-19 and the entire world under lockdown, learners across the globe were forced to self study. Even the fortunate that had access to online learning could agree that their academic life had taken a negative toll. This is when Delta Calculators was born.

Delta was designed to combat the challenge of learning during these difficult circumstances. Originally built as a Mathematics and Physical Sciences calculator for checking homework answers, developer Raphael De Sousa, realised that it could be much more and after partnering with Tiago Brazier, the boys from Cape Town, slowly turned a dream into a reality. Delta has grown into a more informative application, which allows you to find the entire Mathematics syllabus for the senior phase of high school as well as utilise even more of our complex calculators. We can truly say that we are starting to play a part in combating this crisis.

There are apps similar to Delta. What makes us unique is not only the opportunity to enter long and tedious questions into a calculator and get the correct answer, but to understand your work at the same time using our information sections. We are also the only app to offer up-to-date information sections for every topic in the syllabus for every subject we cover (not to mention the past papers too). With already over 30 000 downloads worldwide on iOS and Android devices across our applications at the time of writing we aim to continue to empower even more young learners across the globe.
